He gave his partner another hug as they finally said goodbye to Goblimon. (“I have no idea what I’d do if I lost you like that..”) he mused to her.. his hold tightening slightly as they moved on. When the Torii Gate came into view, it would’ve been a lie if Alemana hadn’t picked up the pace a little more in order to reach it faster- he was eager to leave everything here behind. But when they  were just about to pass beyond the gate he stopped and looked back in the direction of the shrine, calling out. “Whoever you are, other Renamon, thank you for helping us!” And once that was done he stepped through.. and was just as baffled as everyone else.

“We’re almost there?”

Truly, the magic of the digital world was amazing.
