As she ended the call, Renamon took in a deep breath. The vulpine was disguised again, but not as Renee. Dressed in drab greys, she wore baseball cap over her bald head, her body all muscle while her face was covered by a white mask. She stood there, surrounded by trees and shrubs, her eyes focused on the human couple several yards away. The man was dialing on his smartphone, the woman calling for help as she stared down into the nearby bushes. Renamon's attention fell to her hands, watching how the light dappled over stains of dried-out crimson.
